There is absolutely delicious Swabian cuisine at a reasonable price! Service staff is very friendly and competent. The decor of the restaurant is rustic and cozy. All in all, highly recommended for both locals and tourists!

Food is very good. Service very friendly.

Ate again at Gambrinus for a long time. Conclusion: the hammer. Pork cheek in Trollinger Sößle with fried potatoes. As a sauce Swabian, I could have put myself in for it. The cheeks tender as butter. Fried potatoes so awesome. And the (additional) side salad tasted great. And we had cheese spaetzle with salad. What can I say. Suuuper. In addition, a very friendly and attentive service. Everything was just right. Highly recommended.

We were with friends for New Year's Eve dinner. The food was very good, the service very friendly and attentive. Except for a small drop of wormwood, for starters, various creams with bread, there were no plates. You can improve that. We can definitely recommend the restaurant.

Very good place to have a lunch, the quantity and quality for the dishes are really fine, can congratulate to their chef And it's prices are very very unusual cheap for quality. I recommend it definitely.

We liked it very much !!! We were very nice and friendly. The place has a quaint casual atmosphere, it seemed clean and tidy, with a pleasant crowd. The food and drinks were brought to the table quickly though it was busy. The menu offers a great selection of regional cuisine. We liked it very much. The special request for additional sauce was promptly fulfilled. We had a nice evening and will definitely come back to Gambrinus.

Swabian beef steak was really good and the restaurant was calm and cozy.

Very good German cuisine. Friendly service fantastic salad, I had wild herb salad but also the Schnitzel are top you can taste it's handmade. Unrestricted to recommend

Well cooked food, but the staff does not even try to speak English even though they have English menu.

The restaurant "Gambrinus" in Esslingen is always delicious and highly recommended. Good food, changing seasonal dishes and home-style cuisine with modern accents, regional beers and friendly service round off a visit. I like to dine here, and my guests were always satisfied too.

Very friendly and hardworking service. Kitchen crew handled the large number of guests without problems. 3 large tables were reserved, all received their order shortly and in very good quality. Dogs are also allowed in the gate room. Thank you very much
